Responsibilities
JOB
Summary:
Under the direction of the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef plans and supervises daily operations of the kitchen to provide a positive guest experience and quality products (menu items/offerings). Incumbent will be responsible for all duties of the Executive Chef in his absence. Responsible for maintaining quality levels, cleanliness, sanitation, safety and customer service standards.

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation
Show a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations
Assist in training Team Members working in the kitchen
Reflect a positive attitude and build moral
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Received formal training and accreditation from an accredited culinary institute with one or two years food productions experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
Must be able to perform simple numerical calculations.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods of time.
Must be able to consistently lift fifty (50) pounds.
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and kneel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 20 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics described here may be representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
